The major cost of a honeymoon actually depends on the PLACE/ LOCATION you plan for the honeymoon. It doesn’t necessarily have to be abroad or to a far away place (state or country).

A N50k honeymoon would have to be in the same town as you live, so that you can exclude travel (bus or flight cost) and use the entire amount well. I would suggest you find a nice but cheap hotel not too far away from where you live (may be a bit far away to reach with a taxi cab).

N50k could get you between 3 and 5 days at a very affordable but nice hotel in a not-too-expensive-part-of-town. A major part of that N50k budget should be for hotel accommodation and feeding while away. Hotel food can be expensive, so you may eat in the hotel a few times and stroll out to a cheaper but nice restaurant to eat. >That way, you would be able to have enough money to spend more time together at the hotel.
